I just put some 6x9's in my EL. I had the speakers, and an amp, so it was a given that I put them in. I got some mdf/fibreglass pods from a local auto shop.. VN-VR commodore ones I think. I had to cut the corner of the drivers side one out to get it to clear the seat belt, was a bit of a pain, lots of trial and error, but it looks good. Just need to tidy up the vinal a bit better, but will look the ducks guts soon, if the pods were grey (or my shelf was black) they would almost look like they were ment to be there.
I'll see about geting some pics, i'll have my car out tomorrow getting paccie comps fitted

I'm all done, speakers now installed and running nicely, now for the deck... :P

My 7 x 10s look quite good in the parcel shelf of my EF. I have them mounted on an angle with slight risers(about 1/2 inch). The look very tidy. There was only a small amount of manipulation required of the metal frame.
