I don't think hulk has a day job. No one with a job could be this bored.

Oh god, I knew straight away that this was a HULK BA thread, because this is just the type of thread that has no definite answer (and you know this)
You simply ask these questions not to find an answer but to try and stir something up between the other members. There is a name for someone who does this....
Look forward to your next useless thread HULK..

On my street there is a ba xt with full fpv kit and wing, stripes, duel side oval exhausts and its a i6 with taxi pack interior? Some silly chrome wheels and they think its a hot car?

If you want the more upmarket or sporty model, why not just buy it in the first place? The cost and time of mucking around would suggest its the better option.

Also if i was to buy a used car and in the market for a base model, i would buy a stock car over the many spare parts bin specials out there.
Same reason you bought an xr8 and spent all the money on it and still have it slower than a gt with less mods

i agree to some degree, i purchased a ba xt v8 because i could not afford a xr8 or turbs and slowly modified it, i tried to modify it with nothing that says xr or fpv but my seats are xr seats and i purchased them for a steal with the intention of getting some custom trims for the seat. xr seats are heaps more comfortable than xt seats also.

to me an xt with fpv body-kits is just like all the lancer evo mock ups out there and are pretty lol unless you have the power under the hood to go with it

and boobies are good because they just are.

Why are some headlights classier than others?

I'm sure you knew the answer to the question before you asked it, Hulk. It's the same reason why you put an exhaust on your BA. I know you are just trying to stir up a bit of conversation. But I don't understand why you think it's unacceptable to switch parts from a Fairmont to an XT. You need to come back down to earth in that respect- it's a Falcon, not a Bentley. I have G6E chrome on my XR6T. Why? Because I can.

So many people look down on others for what they do to their cars, just leave them alone and mind your business is my policy. Atleast they have an interest in their car in the first place, there's nothing worse than meeting someone who has more interest in his iPhone than he does in his car.

Why do a quarter of the threads that HULK BA starts get closed due to arguments being caused, pick your game up HULK, I give you a D minus, now go out there and get me that A+...... turns sarcasm off

Hi

Just a little harmless banter? Surely none of us wanna jump the table and start swinging? Friendly jest amongst the best enthusiasts around.

Its true what someone wrote above, they buy the car they can afford at the time and then waste all their money on it.

How else would we see old 1989 skylines with vl turbo motors etc in them? Done up lancers and pulsars? Doesnt make sence someone would pic that car to mod.

This problem is less obvious with ford cars as we are usually a little more subtle in what is used from upper spec models (there is still a few fpv kits on xts around) but holden guys, all the fake hsvs out there geeez.

why has hulk not been baned?

he was going good about 6 months ago but has really slipped into old habits over the last couple of months.

mods close and then give him a holiday from aff for a few weeks.
it will give everyone some sanity back
