i want this: coupled with a steering wheel to suit(black leather/silver inner) and i'l replace the ghia wood trims with polished ally checkerplate.

I had a shortend gear stick at one stage, I shortend it aprox 25mm.
All it did was make it harder to change gear, as it lessend the mechanical advantage of the gear stick.

I got rid of it and bought a proper short shifter.

well i shortened mine by 30 mm and it has made the shifts quicker and firmer also it removes that dicky "i drive a van" look and when mated to a short shifter it easily outperformes the longer stick

For what it is worth, here is a stock EB shifter next to a BPT short EF shifter. Shift quality is HEAPS better

yeah I want to shorten my stick for visual appeal alone...its huge and van-like as fpvwpen mentioned.

the bpt short shifter for the eb is probably about the same height as that ef one only still in the eb shape

hrmm im pretty happy with shifts at the moment.. later on down the track i want a ripshift.. but the aesthetics of it don't bother me too much..

ashtray is just the light.. the centre console is a different story.. lmao
