Ford need to make an ad just like the Toyota Corolla one haha, especially all the stunt driving in it.
Your Favorite Ford add was made in good old downtown Ballarat....

1. Going Ford is the going thing... from the early 1970s.

2. XD Falcon pre-release... we've got your car on ice (accompanied by 2001 space odyssey music "Also Sprach Zarathustra". The vehicle can be seen within a large block of ice, and slowly melts as it gets closer to release day. Great stuff.

3. Fairlane Sportman ads over the years... big car for big country etc etc...

4. The fuss that Ford made over the alloy cylinder head of the XE Falcon... a flipping cylinder head for crisake!!

Those adds are from a time when Ford cared enough about its market share to giveashit!

One of my favorite car ads wasn't even on TV. It was a radio ad about the Falcon ute and the blokes talking about it over a BBQ desended into grunting neanderthals when disscussing the V8. Used to crack me up every time I heard it. Anyone remenber that one?

Notice at 0:39 when they crane in the 'BFT' plasma TV

And that subtle 'g'day boys' nod from the cop at 0:28 when he's ticketing the metros.

Gold!

And, can somebody explain to me what's the deal with these Toyota Ninja Kittens?

My first car was an FC Holden and still have one in the shed. Do own a BA XR6 so I do at least drive a Ford.

Dad's first car was an FC and also seeing this ad when I was about to get my license is what made me start of with FC's.

Thunderstruck has to be the most memorable car ad ever in Oz. The soundtrack and visuals were married very well.

Holden add for the VZ? Lumina was a classic.
Guy has one painted on his panel lift garage door, waits for all his neighbours to leave and pulls out on a scooter.

The walking fingers ad for the FG falcon.

I was sick for days.

I'll never forget than bout of dysentry.

Seriously tho,

Thunderstruck

Hilux 'unbreakable ads'

Hilux 'bugger' ads

ford magnet utes.

Volvo's stayin' alive ad when dad punts a 740 turbo around sideways and then picks up mum and kids in the same car.

one of the funniest ones ive seen is when the 69 camaro introduced its rubber bumper bar and the husband was at home pulling his hair out that the wife would total his car, meanwhile she ran into all sorts of things but it didnt damage the car as it a rubber bumper. (no chance of an add like that these days)

also the red BA rumbling in the carpark and the boom gate falls down.
GO FORDS.

My fave is the Mercedes ad getting around a few years back. Two asian drivers driving two different Benzes where one of them is driving, what seems erratically, whilst laughing his head off and turns out he is dodging bugs.

seen a car ad on worlds best commercials, was two cars male in one female in other, gave the impression they were a couple in matching his and hers cars, she drives off and lifts the passenger seat revealing the toyboy - then he lifts his passenger seat revealing a male if you get my meaning was quite funny sorry I don't have more details

and I always liked the AUII VCT ad - performance technology that's ahead of itself, as it leaves its shadow behind
