I'm a big Eagles fan, however Sydney (not South Melbourne, as the poor losers down in mexico refer to them. Really, just stop being crap at football and you wont have to claim interstate teams as your own) will take home another flag.

unless u dont understand the game of football.

the winner is the one who stops the most goal not who kicks the most goals thats why a victorian team wont win one for a couple of years yet because non of them have a decent defense.

I really enjoyed that Michael O'loughlin goal in the preliminary final. Awww... I felt sorry for all those silent Westcoast supporters.

The old West Coast Eagles song was the current song, except the current song was just the chorus. There was a bridge as well.

They changed the song because it used to be very anti-everybody except WA. But because the draft was introduced and they picked up more interstaters, they changed it.

The vast majority of freo fans are obsessed with the rest of the league.
After last years grand final, dockerland.com was changed to swansland.com just to spite the eagles.
As irony would have it, those same swans knocked freo out this year. Suckers.
The "who wins the grand final poll" on dockerland only has the swans as an option.
I'd rather rally behindd the dockers than Sydney.

Half time. This game reminds me of the 1998 grand final between North Melbourne and Adelaide where the Kangaroos dominated the first half in a similar manner but didn't capitalise on all of their chances. Will Sydney do an Adelaide in the 2nd half and come out firing on all cylinders? I hope not.
