Boss hoss!

They are a true muscle bike I mean, a motorcycle coming with a 8.2L chevy with a 2 speed transmission and over 500hp is seriously.... words cannot decribe.

I'd classify the 'busa as a Muscle Bike, because it is a bike you have to "muscle" around corners fast, while it has ballistic straight line acceleration, its handling prowess has a lot to be desired.

There are other bikes that would be faster around a track than a 'busa - and i'm sure i'd far prefer one of those over a 'busa.

I'd say somthing revvy high pitched motorbike would be classified as a crotch rocket or in car terms "plastic fantastic jap car" I see low revving deep sounding loud bikes with alot of torque as the muscle bikes.

That's just my opinion

Ducati 916. Why would anyone want to ride an over size air pump such as a harley. You do no they we originally designed as a deep sea diving air pump didn't you. :

No one has mentioned the original Jap muscle bike the V-MAX, it owned in the eightys and early 90's.
even when the the first ZZR100 came along, it had trouble with these in a straight line.

Even the classic old Kawasaki Z9 was a killer in it's day, i once saw a fully customised version with an inscription on the clutch cover that read:

" Born in Japan, raised downunder, destroying Harleys while creating thunder"

Meh it's owned by that Yanky bike with the Bell helicopter turbine engine, Jay Leno bought one, a car got too close to him sitting in traffic, he melted it's front bumper, :

Definatly a harly or a boss hoss somthing with loads of torque and doesn't rev it's tits off.

It's like comparing a subaru wrx sti to a xy gt.

The subaru will blow the xy away in 1/4 and handling. Does that mean the subaru is more of a muscle car than the xy gt?

Hayabusa ****s all over a Fatboy.

This is like comparing a Twin Turbo porsche to a 65 mustang.

You bring up a good point - Porshe = sportscar , Mustang = Muscle Car

I want a Buell best of both worlds (equiv of the new Ford GT??)

I think the harely is more of a "muscle bike" big and loud and comes from america like old muscle cars. not all muscle cars are all that fast anyway. Hayabusa is more like a realy fast jap import. dosnt have the "muscular" sound and feel, just goes real fast.

ducati are the ferrari of the motorcycle world.. italian, red, cafe racers. they aren't muscle bikes.

the harley is the muscle bike of those two, only because its brawny and beefy. the hyabusa looks like a contrived bird caricature. i don't care about speed. muscle cars (and bikes) are defined by pedigree and looks, not performance
