Thats an image none of us ever want to see, especially to modified cars :(

Did ya wake up & see it happening or smell fire?

We're the Airbags in the front yet?

was sitting down having breakfast before i was going to work and i looked out the window and seen what i thought was fog and i got up to investigate and there was smoke pouring out my shed.

Front bags were not in yet but everything for them was in. just spent a load of coin just in the bag setup alone

Lucky you caught it when you did, before the whole shed went up.

With all the AV gear being powered off the battery....forget that idea.
More than likely there has been a short circuit or overload of some sort.

all the av gear runs off a 2nd battery, in a dual battery setup and there would of been no current draw, car had been stored for 3 days since i last touched it.

but surely it wont short curcuit or overload, when none of that equipment is in use..different story if he had them running, but the fact that he hasnt started the car for 3days, theres gotta be something wrong with that battery..

@ schultzie and hemank, didn't know about 2nd battery or that car had sat for 3days. Very strange, anyway still think short or overload of some sort, what brand of battery is it? Has there been other events like this with that battery?
Even though the car had sat for so long there is still some electrical bits that draw power could one of them been the reason or could there have been some problem with that terminal and the wiring on it.
Just thinking out loud guys, its got me really curious.

Sad to see a nice car end up like this. Any evidence of rats in your shed at all?

Geez mate! What a horrible start to the day :(.

It truely sucks to see that happen to your car especially knowing how much time and effort you put into it. Hopefully you'll have some answers soon and some sort of news of what comes next.

I'd be counting your lucky stars that you got to it and the shed didn't burn as well.

Bad luck either way, hope it gets sorted dude
