Agreed regarding the rear end. The tail lights are fine but I'm not too keen on the lower skirt. Those angled exhaust cutout/surrounds ruin it for me.

It looks tough. I like it. Well done HSV. It'd suck getting blown away by a GS ute with only a tune though...

Looks like a good package. A GTS sportswagon would be awesome, I've always liked the SS sportswagons.

Yep but they have made large financial losses in recent years. We've seen how limited Ford have been with their product for years now because of lack of budget. Holden still seem to be spending no problems

Surprised people like the wheels. I think they're disgusting - I can't stand the 3 spoke style wheels.
Other than that, not bad.

Kudos to them for doing it without making bs excuses like Ford did.
Doesnt Holden own half of HSV?

I thought they were owned by the walkingshaw group which in turn has a "relationship" with Holden. Holden do not have any ownership of HSV. In fact I don't think that walkingshaw has any exclusive agreement to be bound to just Holden , for all we know after commodore is dead and buried , they might be modifying Hyuandais and Kias....lol

The uterus looks alright from most angles, but imo the front however looks hideous, can anyone say over the top ?
they have a lot of kit in it though and deserve 10 points for going all out.

This takes the FGX and wipes the floor with it, in my opinion. If I was a well to do tradie I know what i'd be doing.

i dont think its they (ford aust)don't want to put the big hardware in, it's matter of not having the funds to doit.
if we look back to earlier days the boot was on the other foot, a 4 cylinder toyota gearbox had bigger bearings than a holden v8 gearbox and ford had heavier duty drive line. .

I really like it in that grey colour, looks great.

Agree with the point about HSV just doing it too, say what you like but they have tried a lot of things in the past that many would not do - whether or not they were a success is a different point, but that can happen to any brand - F6X anyone?
