I think it's a good move by HSV to incorporate this option in their packages. FPV really hit HSV when they released the BA GT but really haven't done much in aiding the enthusiast. Ford/FPV really need to do something about their, as said by russellw, "drive it like you're a timid granny" warranty because enthusiasts buy these cars for a purpose.

yea its a great idea in thoery, but i doubt holden are going to warrenty their vehicles if they have been driven on the track or strip, it puts alot of strain on the vehicles. but hey if they dont mind the odd track day - 5000rpm clutch dumps here we come

I nearly got cleaned uup buy a VY R8 last night, P Plater. He pulled up after and i spoke with him for an hour about his car and he was saying that he has already put a deposit down on a track spec car, he said he has never had his car at WSIDW but takes it to every track day in sydney and even tho HSV knows this most of the drivline failures covered.

Yup... I just put this down to the fact that HSV read these forums more than Ford/FPV do. Sounds very similar to my revival of the XR8 Sprint or GT-R (similar to HSV's proposed GTS-R).

Ford you have been missing on some top ideas here and your rival has been beating you to the punch EVERY SINGLE TIME.

I couldn't possibly buy a Holden, but i'm certainly not going to buy a new falcon or derivative of for my next car if this miopic (spelling?) vision continues.
