I thought i had to changed the front strut because a few threads in these forums have stated this. It only applied to the T3 series wheels apparently, not other wheels.

Thanks for that racecraft. How is that done? I could only think of two ways of doing it - enlarging the wheels or cutting the body out and lowering it.

Dauphin, nah, thats just a photoshop tint ;) It will have darkest legal tint in a few weeks...

when i get home i'll post up a picture of a black fairlane with mark 1 GT wheels on it. Looks superb! if i had an AU fairlane they'd be my pick. Or the t3 5 spokers, or the rebels.

Well, I was going to ask for a better quality picture to photochop the wheels from, but my dad drove in the driveway last night stating that he is buying a Phantom XR6 Turbo with the Mk1 GT rims on it!

Should have photos in the next few days

Well here are a few more. Lowering credit goes to Racecraft ;)

Can anyone confirm the size of the Mk1 GTP rims? I know the MkII are 19s, and i thought the Mk1s were aswell but the 6 or so listed on car sales have them down as 18s?!? I think they suit the car down to the ground, im so glad i did not dismiss them entirely (the strut thing).

Cheers,
Michael

Looking at the 3 new pics, I can only feel comfortable with the first. The other two seem to wreck the AU lines. But I think the second wheels look good with a black car.
