Yep. I almost fell over when I saw the price of shell 95 at fortitude valley yesterday.

Yep agree.

Rediculous that ASIC thinks that games aren't being played and infuriorating that we allow the Singapore barrel price per barrel value (in US dollars) to dictate the pricing on a local product.

Petrol duopoly almost, they charge what they like because they can, always have probably always will, they work within the laws and regulations in place , nothing we can do till we end our 2 party dictatorship in Oz.

You saved yourself $1.20

Not having a go at you, just just pointing out the savings aren't huge even at a 10c / litre discount.

I was going to make a joke about that being funny money but that's still $2.16 in real money (AUD) - ouch. And i thought my 90cpl LPG was bad!

You guys ***** about these prices in the city, try the prices in the Out Back then you might realise how lucky you are.
On my last trip up north about 3 months ago I was paying between $1.65 to $2.30 per litre

I think the same about diesels but people keep buying them, more expensive to own than an LPG car.

Went to my local BP, been going there for years. 181.9cpl for 98 no pumps working no signs up. I got cranky at the attendant when she came out. (Rarely do I get cranky) saying you charge this much, no pumps working and can't even be bothered to put signs out saying out of order.
Go 2 minutes down the road to next BP, 161.9 for 98. Was like wtf. Went back today was 181.9. I dont really care about the prices but the rubbish at my local servo got me cranky.

Fuel, you gotta have it either way. Typical thread on here by the usual sooks.

Australia exports LPG for a cost of cents a liter to buyers overseas...once again because of contracts we signed many years ago (like the stupid "link our petrol prices to Singapore refinery prices" crap).

LPG is an odd one...government reports say we are "more than self sufficient in LPG supplies". So...why can't we just set the price to suit our population and bugger what the world thinks our prices should be? That's what big oil producing nations do for their own populace...dirt cheap petrol.

Well your coles dockets really a rip off, as coles servo's are normally 4 cents dearer at the pump than most competitor servos.

Now that the new year is in coles is limited to giving you 4 cents discount, hardly worth the effort.

I say stuff coles as they started the rip off price hikes we are seeing today.

PS: To get discount you must shop Coles & they are not as cheap one thinks compared to other competitors.

Useless, and can never work...you have to buy petrol sometime...they know that. You either top up this week, or "don't buy it thursday" (or whatever day) and fill it up next week.

We filled up 2 cars and a 20 ltr Jerry today at woolies. For those of you that say 4c doesn't save you your until you add into the over a year saving if you fill up every week. We had a 20c voucher that does save you. In this case 22 bucks. For those of you questioning the diesel thing. I bought one because it drove better and the Monday avg 7.3 where my old falcon avg 14 for the same run. Mind you the misses pulsar avgs 7.1 haha. Also means we can afford 95 instead of 91. Oh and 91 is 1.59 diesel 1.64 and 95 is 173
