I'd like a car manufacturer to develop a motor that could run 100% ethenol. The government subsidises our sugar farmers so why cant we kill two birds. Cheap fuel and keep the sugar industry going in OZ.

I know this is simplistic but it would be nice.

Sorry Cupic, but there are no guarantees in life, we can only take precautions as best we can!
As to Ethanol selling cheaper than petrol once it is widely accepted by Aussie motorist... I don't know about that! Just look what has happened to the price of LPG when a few million motorists added LPG to their vehicles! :evilsasmo
Maybe I'm paranoid but I just don't trust pollies to do the right thing by us! it:

Sorry, petrol still has more kick the ethanol..

I'd still run 100% Ethanol in the family car if I could.
Give it a few years of R&D, you will be able to get the same performance out of ethanol, that will keep a smile on your dail :1syellow1

It's a shame that a bunch of money grabbing pollis are running this country at the moment. As it been said before ethanol could help this country to save money in more way then one, keep our money here in this country & not send it oversea like we do now.
