In some parts of the USA that would blend in, I've seen Mustangs with wheels that big the ride height was increased and the wheels were worth more then the car.

1. Daewoo Maepsy

2. Daewoo Royale Salon

3. Daewoo Royale Prince

4. Daewoo Royale Salon Super

Reasonably certain some of those were originally Vauxhall Carltons/Cavaliers or at least Opel Calrtons.
I have seen the Vauxhall Chevette over here too but have no idea what Holden badged it as.
Also seen the Holden Barina over here badged as a Suzuki Swift in the UK, lol, go figure.

That's because it is actually a Suzuki Swift, not a Holden Barina. Holden did the badge engineering, not the other way round. Holden bank a lot on their brand name and image, it helps having a lot of blind followers who would buy anything with the red lion on the front.

Then in that case he should stick to painting gawdy flames on his EH and re-chroming the Dodge, and leave the new cars alone! At that age he should know better. I would be mortified to see what the XR6 looks like...

Holden's relationship with Daewoo dates back to the early 70's. Daewoo built the LJ Torana based Saehan Camina/Chevrolet 1700 from 1972 to 1978.

They are all German Opels/Vauxhalls... a Rekord, Senator and Kadett.
The Suzuki Swift was always a Swift, just rebadged by Holden in the '80's.
