I'm gonna update this now, sacrificed a saturday night to help Mum move house and am having a rest.

Have just found some awesome old pics of all my cars (Funnily enough I have no pics of the utes on Photobucket yet!) anyway in order from the day I got my P's

2003-04 - 94' Falcon XG S XR6 ute

Yeh I realise it is shopped (the wheels), but it's the only pic I have of the ole girl who was given to me and served as my very first car.

2004 - 05' - 95' EF Futura 5sp Man

The biggest heap of $#it you could ever imagine, dozens and dozens of problems, just a horrible horrible money pit this lemon turned out to be. That said, It looked absolutely immaculate and beautiful, It was a stock 3 metre high Futura with Classic 15"s when I got it. I decked it out with stereo, EL XR Kit, ELGT Rims, and full pedders suspension, and it looked tits. The paint was perfect and a lovely colour. I still see it getting round Ringwood with a Fairmont front now. It'd easy have over 400,000 kay on it now. I'm surprised it hasn't blown up by now. Good Riddance.

2005 - 07 - 05' Ford Fiesta WP Zetec

My little Fiesta, the surprise of my life. I loved this car most of all because it simply exceeded my expectations. I thought I was buying an economical runabout, but what I got, was an zippy, rorty, hoot of a car, that looked the goods, and handled like the proverbial to a blanket, it felt quick too and held its own on the GOR with WRX's. I realised very quickly that you did not need 6 or 8 cylinders to enjoy yourself behind the wheel when you have a well sorted chassis like that of the Mk6 Fez.

2007 - 10' - Renault Clio RenaultSport 182 Cup

Where do I start with this one? Bought it brand new, and loved it. I did not have the same attatchment to it as the Fiesta when I got it because I knew what reputation this baby had, and therefore knew what to expect, and it did deliver. 0-100 in 6.8s, 131kW/tonne.

I grew to absolutely adore this thing, I kept it for near on 4 years. A record for me, a truly wonderful car, definitely the last of the truly big engined superminis, that were loud, angry, quirkily made, but went like a bat out of hell, and stuck to the road like they were on rails.

The sound of this 2.0l was just like howling banshee heaven, the handling like something out of a 150,000 coupe. The last of the true, drivers hatches, the last of engineers being allowed to create something completely bonkers and crazy just because they could. I loved that car, and nay did I ever have a problem with it.

2010 - FG XR6T Ute and FG FPV F6 Ute
The work cars, loving the smoothness, power and driveability and comfort of both, and can appreciate just how far Ford have come with these Falcons, they may not be world class, but they really are a triumph of Aussie engineering.

2011 - Renault Megane Renaultsport 250 Cup Trophee

The new Hatch. My weekender, the new baby. Only a week old so can't say much for her right now. My first impressions are just of amazing adoration and love for this thing. I truly feel a passion for this car almost like I did with the Fiesta.

It makes me smile, laugh, cheer, scream, and sing. This thing makes me feel 18 again, It's reignited my passion for cars. I have not felt this way about a car for a long time, I am loving the feeling. I can not believe I feel this way about a vehicle once again, but I do. It's truly wonderful.

Thanks for reading my ramblings!

-A nostalgic Danny
