bloody Paypal and its "instant" transfer........goes out of my account "instantly" but after a refund within half an hour from the seller I still haven't seen the funds back in my account after a week.

been there with the wire brush under the fingernail......not overly fond of that.

I hate going for jobs I really, really want to do and either don't find out what happened, or do some assessments for the job and don't find out what happened.

Or even getting right through to the 2nd last stage of recruitment and not getting through. Was so effed off, angry and upset that day.

First time the kids next door kicked their footy over the fence my dog ate it, next time their new footy came over they asked me to take my dog inside I told them to learn to keep it in their own yard if they don't want it chomped. I feel like clint eastwood in grand torino some days these kids **** me to tears the footy I can deal with running around my front yard and throwing lemons in my yard is starting to push it.

I hate walking into a meeting designed to de-confuse everyone, with a fairly clear idea of what's meant to be happening, and walking out completely confused about the last three months worth of work we've done....

Cystic pimples. I think that's what they call them - those hard lumpy ones underneath your skin.

I've got one at the moment on my neck, adjacent to my ear, and its the size of a brussel sprout and painful as hell! Did some thorough research on youtube and discovered that Vicks VapourRub is the bees-knees. Rubbed some on 4 hours ago and now its the size of a pea. Sweetness and light!

Driving home from my parents place late last night....

Hear a funny vibrating noise coming from the review mirror.. funny, it wasn't there in the morning??

Tap the mirror several times, grab it and hold it while driving on the ripple strips to see if it's a loose screw. Nope... vibration / rattling sound is still there!

Hmmm ok... could be the toll tag is loose behind it? Nope, fixed pretty solid and holding it down while on the ripple strips doesn't stop the rattle / vibration....

Wake in the morning to find the 1 foot long steel hook I took from my parents place sitting on the windscreen right where I had left it at lunch time. I put it there so I didn't forget to take it home and I didn't have my keys with me to unlock the car....

It sat there for 100km, doing 115km/h on the freeway (Southern Highlands to Sydney) with God knows how many bends.. wouldn't have moved an inch.

Shocking memory... geeze I hate that!

Drivers slowing down below the speed limit to pass a stationary police car..... with no one in it. You are allowed to go past it at the speed limit you know you stupid idiots!

Glad to see the GovCo's speeding propaganda has worked!

Or when people approaching a speed camera car at or under the speed limit feel the need to brake so they're now doing 20 under.... just so they don't risk getting booked.

Ok I feel a need.................a need to add to this thread.

Drivers who, when at a red light, leave SOOOOO MUCH SPACE between their car and the car in front of them that 2 or 3 big cars can parallel park. Seriously? How long do they think their car is?

And one more thing........people who talk like this? Where everything they say becomes a question? Even though it's at a conference? Where they're the expert? It sounds like they're not sure of what they're saying? So they're asking us? Ok, nuff said.

I work with a guy like this.. everything starts as a question.. then when you go to give your answer, if it doesn't seem to fit how he thinks it should.. he talks over the top of you and tells you the answer he was asking for.

or when your offering advice or showing him how things need to be done and as your talking all you hear is YEP YEP YEP... then 5 minutes later he is asking you questions on how to do things......

and for some reason he never has a pen or marker, knife or anything required to do the job.. yet we both started the same day.. we both received the same work kits and keys etc....
WTF... we are all big kids now.. a little preparation wouldn't hurt.

Some people feel the need to leave a gap to give them a way out should the worst happen and a car come up behind them unable to stop in time. What annoys me more is when they stop short, then 10 seconds later creep up a couple of metres, stop, move forward again, stop, then close up to the car in front. Just close up 1 metre behind to start with FFS!

In bumper to bumper traffic there's nowhere to escape to and would take an out of control Kenworth at speed to hit you when you already have a few cars stopped behind you. Closing up the gaps means the guy 4 cars back can get into the turn lane. I usually watch my mirrors in this situation and move my car to the right or left within the lane to maximise the chance of cars getting through. Some are just brain dead and do the opposite, don't look in their mirrors, effectively blocking people unnecessarily.

I did that on my phone by accident because of the dodgy touch screen. Then to reset the account it sent the code to my old number....
