Same as the take-up in other significant celebrations from American culture, such as Halloween, Thanksgiving and Valentine's Day; predominantly driven by the marketing departments of Australian businesses to increase their turnover.

This social media slovenliness gets my goat. Why not put the small effort into mirroring clip art?

It would be very interesting to know what percentage of tertiary educated Americans went to Uni to do a marketing degree?

Turned on the evap for the first time, not pumping water to the pads.
Checked out the pump, completely corroded. Why is it always on a weekend? Fridges and hot water systems are the same 99% of the time.

Don't know much about compressors in cars that is, but the basics are very basic, you have to turn them on at least once a week in winter, just for a few seconds, it's preventative maintenance without maintaining anything, things do get stale, and things scale up, not rust up but the clutch on the compressor motor can stick, give it a light tap with a hammer, very gently!

It's not blowing cool air at all. Compressor isn't running and can't see anything in the sight glass. It wouldn't surprise me if there were low/no gas on top of anything else.
I will give it a tap and see what happens |

You’ll only see action in the sight glass when the compressor is engaged. If you know which relay, remove it before starting the car and jump the in/out terminals.

IMO Parramatta is steadily losing the plot with its light rail and reworking of many roads. I wanted to visit Lee Bros yesterday, but had to abandon the effort as a crucial right turn is no longer permitted - and the safe way to recover my steps would have taken me all but past closing time.
Amazing to think that barely fifteen years ago you could park under the camphor laurel trees alongside the prison wall. I used to blow kisses to the guards for a lark - wondered how they’d write it up in their notes. |

What is it about Nickelback that people dislike so much?
I quite liked their first few albums. I grew out of the songs a bit after the All The Right Reasons album, but they were still ok.

I noticed what I think are water stains on my ceiling near my front door. Not sure if they are new or been there for a while so will have to keep a look out.
Then the other day when it was ****ing down the carpet was wet as **** near my sliding door though have no idea where it was coming from unless through the slab. This is after I just had a lot of water damage repaired caused by a fault with my evap cooler back in January |
