Landau dash! Great to see someone add value to a GT Would take a bit of $$$ to get it back to an XA. Guess the colour would be wrong ..... the gold at least ..... but if rust free and you have the XA bits, wouldn't be a bad project at the starting price for sure.

Default XC Coupe on e-bay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This one looks like a scam to me.
I think I have seen this particular XC on e-bay before as a scam item. It was removed very shortly after it was listed.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Ford-XC-Falco...d=p3286.c0.m14

How do you let e-bay know that you think it is a scam?

Wayne

I just spoke to an E-bay assistant and he said there is nothing wrong with the listingand there is nothing you can do! I reckon everyone should just bombard there e-mail address with really stupid questions. This car has done the rounds about 3 times now!

It is the same car as i posted in post #369^^^^ which was pulled of ebay a couple of hours after i reported it, they are using a number of user id,s and just swap the scam from one to another.....

The same w*****s were trying to flog a $65k Bobcat/trailer setup for $4k last year, they said it was located at Rockingham just south of Perth, problem was you could just see the Wisconsin plate on the trailer and clearly see the one on a chevy pickup behind it....

it sounds funny but i recognise the accent in the writing to....

Surprise surprise its back again.....

The same thing happend with the bobcat, it was pulled after complaints then showed up a day or two later with a new sellers id....

I got an e-mail back from "the seller"? Same old story, gone through a divorce, moved to England and wants car sold. Will even freight the car for free anywhere in Australia!
All I asked for were the vin numbers, but got no info on those. These scammers need to be stopped. I want to know who's E-bay accounts they use, this one had 102 ratings all positive?

Default And here's another one!!!

Here is another definite scam.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Falcon-XC-GS-...d=p3286.c0.m14

This car was listed not so long ago (see link below) for $35k and was in Northern New South Wales. Now advertised in Victoria.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Ford-Falcon-X...d=p3286.c0.m14

I still can't seem to contact ebay about this kind of stuff.

I have the same problem with E-bay. I speak on-line to an "assistant", but they say there is nothing that can be done? I pity any poor bugger that puts deposits on these cars. I always e-mail the "seller" with stupid questions just to see what they will feed me.

There are a few Landau's in the Trading Post at the moment. Both Brisbane cars. One of these cars I know, the guy lives not too far away - white with a black roof. Link to the advert below. It is one of the very first Landau's from what I remember him telling me.

cheers

Very nice, that last one is certainly different!!

The first one is a pretty decent unit, I've seen it around.

my xp coupe is up for sale....its on ebay starting at 2500 with a buy it now of 5k...no motor or box but the rust is retsricted to the d/s rear qurter and bugger all elsewhere..very much a doable project...I'm parting with it because I have a 46 plymouth and my sons 65xp 4 door(school car) to do first. A coupe is too good for a first car (17y/old) for my boy ...anyone who sees the car and meets me will walkaway happy.Genuine and honest..no rubbish...just the facts lol...cars in Ipswich(outside Brisbane) easily accessible and/or transported..call 0407070831 for ANY informatiopn and inspections are most welcome...cheers all

Would have to think it is ..... no one does those on purpose The vinyl mould would be hard to get. Bit expensive needing a bit of work? Know a Fairmont V8 XB coming on the market shortly for 1/2 that price.
