Greetings folks; Feb 2014 and we've just purchased our first Territory which, altho new, is a 2012 plated. TX AWD with 2.7 Diesel and a h/duty tow kit. From what I've been reading on the forum it seems our h/d towing kit should include an increased capacity transmission cooler. Is that correct? We've also purchased a near new 20' van and I had thought I'd have to fit an after market trans cooler. Appreciate any info from the FF community. Many thanks, Tony.

G'day ford drivers.
My name is Paul but I get called Harry. When I joined the RAAF, within 5 minutes of my first drill session, the drill instructor called me Harry after the Australian Naturalist and explorer - Harry Butler. (My surname is Butler).

I currently drive a Ford; Or should that be Fozda? It's a Ford/Mazda 2010 PK Ranger 4x4 Dual Cab. It's hard to tell which stable they belong to really. Great car though.

Past Fords have been 1968 XT Falcon sed 6cyl (wrapped it around a tree and cried myself to sleep), 1969 ZB Custom Fairlane 3sp manual (the love of my life, I wish I'd never traded it in). A 1985 Citrus Yellow XF S-pack sedan. (good car, should have kept it). 1987 XF Fairmont EFI Wagon LPG (biggest P.O.S I've ever owned, I couldn't wait to get rid of it. Traded it for a Holdota - Lexcen)

And finally, the newest member of the family is the first Aussie Falcon, a 1961 XK S wag. One owner from new. I'm the second owner to register it. Only minor blemishes.
I do need a LHS rear door chrome strip if anyone has one lying around…?

Cheers.
Harry../

Hello everyone,
My name is Luke. I live in North Queensland. I am a true Ford fan, as I have a 2009 FG Ford xr6 and recently purchased a brand new Ranger. I will advise anyone looking for a dual cab to get one of these.

What has really drawn me to this site is that I am restoring a ford falcon xp coupe and is unreal the info that is shared on this site. It has been a long project as the car got painted around 10 years ago, I rebuilt a 250 for her 6 years ago, and interior got done around the same time.

It is really starting to come together. Engine is in with a Borg warner40 full rebuilt. Cannot believe how tight for room these cars are, but with no chopping at all I managed to sneak everything in.

If anyone is keen to talk early falcons I am up for the chat.

Have a good one!!!!!

Hi there. Have now owned 2 Territory's. 2005/6 Ghia Petrol and now 2011 Titanium turbo diesel. Turbo diesel is great for towing 1.8 tonne trailer with race car (Porsche 911).

hi all
my name is ian, I am 45y/o and today I pick up my 2004 f6 typhoon, with only 44000 on the clock, yes its a manual
I have owned a few ss comms, a 1600 prc Datsun,a kombi,an old xc v8 wagon(ime sure both my kids were conceived in the back of that old girl, what a great car)
my wifes car is a very healthy ser2 r33 gtst skyline coupe
I traded a fully kitted 2010 4wd for the f6 as I have recently had a back operation and was finding the 4wd way too rough
I always said if I bought another performance car it would be an f6 and when this one popped up I couldn't resist
plans for the f6 are keep it in as good a nick as its currently in
a full stainless exhaust and maybe a better tune
cheers

G'Day to all, this site is gonna make my life so much easier. My names Bill or Bones (whichever) and im 44 yo, i have a Falcon Loving Wife and 3 Crazy sons. I am a Welder/Fabricator by trade. Ive been Falcon Mad all my life. Some of the Falcons in my life have been my Dads 1969 XW Ford Futura, he then had a 1972 XA sedan. My older brother had a beautiful 1972 XA GT mock-up with shed-loads of HP. My first Falcon was a bog standard XA Falcon in mint condition about 25 years ago, at the time i was into the Punk Scene and the poor old girl was trashed with-in a year, i then had an XC Falcon,
stock, boring and i just hated it. Then i got my Baby, an original 1974 XB GS Sedan but not in GS trim. It was gun-metal black with 15" Globes and the only thing not black on it was the GT badge on the grille. I sold it 18 years ago for $5,500 and i have regretted it ever since. And my Uncle had from new and still has an original 1969 XW GT. Lucky Bugger.

So that all brings me here,

I have only just last week picked up a 1974 XB Falcon 500 sedan (copper bronze). Has a few rust issues but nothing i cant fix when i get to it.. Straight as, perfect interior and it still starts and drives. No Reg/No RWC for $1,800.

Sorry for the long intro but im still too happy to not ramble on.

Cheers All, happy to find this site.

G'day there

Name's Erik, also a radio amateur, and I'm a big fan of any Ford that has a blue light on the roof and 'POLICE' on the side
Don't currently own any Ford vehicles but if I did and won the lottery I'd pick up a 1988 Ford XF panel van and convert it into a divisional van with the cage barrier.

Just thought I'd pop in and say G'day

Hello, my name's Darren and I'm another newbie. I've been tinkering with a 91 EA Falcon for about 17 years and spent enough money on it. Now I'm about to buy my first V8.....an AU2 XR8 ute. The long term plan is to take the Raptor supercharger of my EA and put it on the ute for a bit more go along with some other mods.
