Price of engine oil going up ?

Seen the price of engine oil going up, the oil that I bought a year ago looks as tho such has doubled.

Has anyone took notice of such yourself.

Yes, have to agree, oil does seem to be getting much more expensive.
I just wait for big reductions,sales, and go buy a few bottles.

I just stock up when it's on sale too, Castrol Edge 0W-40 can range from $50 to $100 at times

Supercheap price match it less $1.00, with the interwebs it's pretty easy to get it cheaper

I do just that. got it for $20 last year and year before that and year before that $27 but now on special it's $ 37 on special save $17 = $54.

Why would full synthetic go up? Is there no mineral oil in the stuff? Rip off.

"Fully synthetic" is a misnomer. Put simply it is NOT "fully synthetic".

Yes, there are many man-made additives in it, but the base oil is still made from distilled crude.
