The power pole looks like it needs repair or replacement too. He’ll probably receive an invoice from Ausgrid for that soon.

I suspect the insurer will come in with some offer. That’s the only way they can control the writing-off.
What’s it worth, seriously, as-is with no WOVR entry? $20K? $30K? I’d wonder if not quite some more in these strange times. That means father cops a $30-$40K hit to avoid his son getting a court date/conviction for unauthorised use of a conveyance, just the neg driving (may be defensible) and the prohibited vehicle ping (not so defensible). |

Not to mention, if memory serves me correct, if their is a finance co involved, with the car being a total loss they are going to want their $$$ back straight away....

Out of interest how are Mustang resale prices going these days ? Must admit I've lost track of that sort of stuff lately .
If you wanted to buy say a 4 to 3 year old 17 or 18 Mustang GT or Ecoboost with max 80K on the odometer what coin would you need to you reckon to get a really tidy one ? I spotted a real nice orange GT about a week ago with the fader stripe kit and it certainly was an eye catcher . |
