Default Fairlane elect seat..AU1 XR8

I am fitting AU Fairlane electric seats into an AU1 XR8..there is a 2 pin plug under the drivers side carpet would anyone know if that is where the seat loom plugs into.?..any help appreciated.

Yep, that's for the basic electric seats. I'm guessing the Fairlane drivers seat would be a memory seat so would have the bigger plug. When I put Ghia seats in my old AU, I made an adaptor to connect the 2 pin plug to the big seat plug (I found the right plugs on an old E-series dash loom of all things!). I just worked out which pin on the seat plug provided basic power and the earth and ignored all the memory stuff

As it turns out the plug on the on the seat was after market bought a set of connectors and voila..fully functioning..more comfortable..looks better..it has 4 way function very pleased..only problem now the rear squabs doesn't fit into a series 1..the mounting points cant be adjusted to engage the latch mechanism..has anyone done this conversion successfully?
