Has anyone heard any good reports on this ?
http://www.nintendo.com.au/nintendo/news/index.php It looks pretty cool but is it likely to go the way of other hand held gaming devices like the N-gage etc...

It looks alright, but I'm more interested in the Sony PSP :

From what I've heard the PSP is pretty dodgy. If you were to accidentally twist the console, the cartridge pops out. Also, they had a problem with the square buttons (only the square ones) breaking off. Not sure if that'll still be around once we get them, and they look good.

eh? it's not dodgy :
don't know where you got the twist the console thing...have you tried to twist a gameboy or a mobile phone? ....they don't twist...they are plastic... as for the square button, they don't fall off, it's just the sensor for picking up if the button has been pressed or not is slightly to the right, not directly below it like the other buttons. this is because of the screen size making the screen get in the way blah blah....just means that in some units it wouldn't do anything if the square button is pressed. they had 6500 (japanese) consoles returned because of this...compared to how many sold, it's not a problem. |
