Default Regional Vic: Black Ice Warning ..

Big brown pants moment(s) this morning on the way to work. I knew there would be ice (had been raining and was -2 when I left home) but I just plodded along as normal .. until I hit a patch on a sweeping bend at 100km/h. Slid across one lane (three lane road) before it recovered by accident rather than skill.

Hit more patches driving through town at 60km/h .. most people at 6:15am were consequentially driving around 40km/h.

Safe driving to everyone ..

The warning lights were on this morning at Mt Macedon. Didn't have any big slides this morning but the traction control light came on a couple of times coming out of Woodend toward the Calder.
