Hi all I plan on getting my ltd registered next month and I did a bin check and this comes up
so i did a revs check on it and came up with this came up Registration expiry: No data recorded. Year of manufacture: No data recorded. Year/Month of compliance: 1993-06 Written off: Collision, NSW, 07 Dec 2007, Inspected Collision, NSW, 05 Oct 2007, Economic Repairable Write-off Stolen: No data recorded I do believe that if this was done after 2011 it would only be worth scrap metal and parts how ever i did see the radiator support panel split at about 2mm from the body where the headlights bolt in on the drives side but everything does line up perfect i can take some pic tomorrow please help out im planning to get this registered in july

I've only just done research last week on a my fathers car purchased as a repairable write off in 2009. Checked with local Motor Registry before committing to repairs and it was repairable but after looking at the form to repair, now you have to prove you were the owner when it was written off or you owned it while it was still repairable. We can't find proof of this, so we are probably screwed too. Plus investing in a car that will always have the label of being a written off vehicle even just for economical reasons may not make sense. Sux, our sprint maybe not worth the risk either.

I rang the rta and to some it all up its only a parts car and if i inherited the ltd by a family member then i would have no problems

i don't see how the wont let you re register if it was inspected and registered unless it has been damaged again since? I have had dramas with registering cars in Victoria that were nsw write offs but never stuff that old

well i actually went into the rta and the guy over the phone was a ******* tool and didn't know what he was on about so yes i can get it registered and the last time it was registered 13/6/14
