Default Safety Certificate Brisbane

Hi Brisbanites.

Am looking at buying a car from Manheim Auctions in BNE.
Car will need a Safety Certificate before registration, any one know a reliable guy close to the Airport/Manheim area, Ford experience preferred.
Car will be the std 40-60000km and 18 mths old ex govt Falcon job so don't anticipate too many issues.

I've used east coast safety certificates. Been ok for me. They come to your place.

Don't manheim's organise rwc's if needed now?

What sort of prices are the ex govt fleet cars going for at manheim's?

Not anymore apparently...
They are swamped with thousands of hail damaged cars, so not sure if its temporary or permanent change...have had them do RWC before...hence why I don't know any shops in BNE.

Ah yes, hail.
I've actually put my hunt for a new car on hold for a month or two, hopefully all the hail affected cars are sold off by then.

They tried to sell 60 odd late 2013 FG2 XR6's, about 40000kms, no WOVR and most had minor as in 2 or 3 small marble sized dents on roof/bonnet.
Reserve seemed to be around $12000 and they could hardly sell any.

Wow, that's pretty good pricing if you were happy to put up with the damage, or even she'll out a few grand and get it all fixed properly.
