Default Engine has intermittent miss at 55-65kph

Have just bought 2001 AUll have found that it has a massive miss at 55-65 kph (engine has actually stopped once) while driving it will eventually clear and be ok and for some reason seems to be worse when fuel tank full. Could this be a faulty O2 or MAP sensor. Also can anyone explain what these sensor do and why and where they are situated.
thanks in advance

chekc filters, lines, and pump. Could be a knackered pump or blocked line/filter.

Also try flushing the tank of its fuel and putting in a nice clean batch. Could also be bad fuel from your favourite servo

o2 sensor is situated on your exhuast manifold or extractors and the MAP sensor is situated around/inside your intake manifold.
correct me if i am wrong but-
-the o2 sensor adjusts the fuel and oxygen mixture from the ECU and the MAP sensor senses the amount of air coming into the engine.
