What exactly does Economy mode do on an AU?

It changes the revs at which the box changes gears to make it supposeably run more economical. Without it on the box just changes at optimal revs for power and acceleration etc. Economy is good for round town but i find it better in normal mode on highways etc

search it and there are plently of threads about it.
basically its a rpm limiter, it like to change gears at around 2000-2500rpm, where as if u didn't have it on, it would rev right up to like 3000 or even higher depending on how you drive. less rpm, the less fuel u use
