Default easy master cylinder brace- a prototype.

After upgrading my au s1 to s2 front brakes i have been trying to reduce pedal travel. (Its no worse than the s1 calipers).

I have bought braided hoses but not installed them yet.
In the mean time i popped the bonnet and pressed the brake pedal and noticed the master cylinder would moved up and forward slightly.

I grabbed a 6mm turnbuckle with hooks on both ends and hooked one end into an existing 20 mm hole in the wheel arch and looped some 6mm cable around the master cylinder near the booster and hooked it with the other end of the turn buckle and tightened the turnbuckle until the master cylinder pulled down slightly.

Now the pedal feel is much better and will probably make a brace from the strut tower to the end of the master cylinder.

I'm interested in some pics of your current setup and also of the brace once completed.

Cheers,
