Default BA XR6 placard on el?

hey guys
just wondering if a ba xr6 placard on a el would be legal ,as i want a one that states i can have 18s on my car, incase i ever get hasseled by the cops . As some may know most cops are clueless, and go by what the placard say so would this work?

cheers

my mates do it on their commodores the got the stock ones from a vy as they come stock with 16's but i suppose that it would work for general cops but they dont normally pull u over for defects its normally a traffic inpector and these guys get the book out straight away and they have knowledge on cars

its the sticker in the door frame, or on the back of the drivers door that says the dimensions and pressures that the wheels/tyres should be for the vehicle.
