Default Manual Car Hire in Melbourne

Hey everyone,

I'm hoping to specifically hire a manual car in Melbourne shortly. From the searching I've done, I see a Corolla is probably as large as I can get. I was hoping for ideally a Falcon but if not something around that size (mid to large).

Not only does hiring a large car make it hard when you're 22 but finding a manual hard car has been something I can't seem to find.

So, just thought I'd put it out there if you have any ideas. Didn't have to be for long (day or two).

Thanks in advance.

I hired a manual getz in 2009 from east coast in a'beckett st
Manuals aren't generally something you can hire from avis/budget/hertz etc, because 99% of people who hire a car do so as a means of transport not for a weekend fang.

Try the more premium rental places if you like, i'm sure you can find an MX-5 or Mini Cooper manual for hire, just expect to pay the premium.
