Default AU6x2 under the bonnet and in the boot - any tips for engine swap on the weekend???

Just a peice of next to useless information. I picked up my new AU motor for the taxi today - in the taxi.
An AU6 long bare motor on a timber base fits into the boot of an AU sedan. I might have looked a bit silly, but it saved me another trip (150k's return) in my ute. The length of the rocker cover is about 28 inches and the boot is between 41 and 46 inches.
The motor has 104k on it and looks pretty good. I am removing and replacing on the weekend. Has anyboyd done this swap before and if so does anybody have any tips for me? I have only done older motors before and manuals - never a late model and never an auto. Any help would be appreciated.

Ta

leave the trans in the car, pull the engine out complete and swap the auxcilleries over before you put the new engine in.

Yeah I had that bit sussed out.
I am a little lost with the whole convertor thing, as I understand it, I remove the dust cover, undo the 4 bolts on the back of the convertor, slide it towards the trans. Undo bellhousing. Undo the rear mount on the trans slide whole trans back. Does this sound right?

leave the convertor in there, just undo the bolts thru the inspection plate and pull the engine out
