No you will be ok......

It is a bit like the Hire car/rental car disparity.

I was once rolled in WA for driving in a lane reserved for "hire cars & taxis".

I tried to explain to the copper that my car was a "hire car" as I had hired it.

He said it was a rental car in WA not a hire car.

I showed him the "hire agreement" where is plainly stated many times that this was a "car that was hired" and a "hire car".

He let me off mumbling "bloody east-coasters".

it comes down to what the rego officer writes into the computer. i had a 76 subaru leone, but their computers only had models of subaru going back to 1984, so she put it down as Subaru Car00.

Having read many of your posts, i suspect you knew the difference and, dare i say, used your intelligence to argue the point. Would you have taken it to court though? lol.
