Default Door actuator door knob rod position

Hey everyone.

Decided to fix my driver side door actuator yesterday. Got everything out ok, but am having trouble putting everything back

I can't work out where the door knob rod sits, I have tacken a pic to show where I am having trouble.

Would love a few tips, as it's doing my head in!

Cheers, Scott.

It clips into the black plastic bit underneath where you got it, from memory.

Have a quick look at this article in the Tech Section:

AU Door Actuator Removal

.. this one is BA but has a diagram of the mechanism (they are fundamentally the same)

Ahhhh, got it.

I had to turn it 180 and slide the end into the white bush, all good!
If I did another, would probably only take 15mins!

Cheers guy's.
