Maybe he's just a 6T fan boy?
The SC 5.0L really was a terribly kept secret wasn't it?

I forgot I even posted this 15 months ago lol

Correct, there is no V8 for Ford until the middle of next year, due to at the last minute Ford going back on it's decision to axe the XR8 from it's lineup and now having to do all the approvals etc at the last minute.... (so Motor Magazine says)..

They were selling bugger all FG XR8's anyway, so leaving it out of the line up for a while won't kill them, especially when it gives them more time to bring in a better replacement.

Also FPV has a great value V8 coming out so it may get people buying that.

That's if they think it is worth while. They'll see how the FPVs go then they'll make a decision.

The next GS? If its priced accordingly, that doesnt sound like the most compelling value proposition IMO.

I think the descion has already been made.. They would not have used GS over XR8, if the XR8 was not coming back to Ford!!

current AMC also says that ford are doing a back flip (last minute) & will keep the xr8 as a 305 to 310 non supercharged motor & thats why the GS will be in the FPV lineup..

I think you may see something on the XR8 at the motor show in a few weeks time.
