it is a stunning car. there is still plenty in it, its practically on no boost at all. i reckon still a good 15-20lbs of boost can be thrown into it. i think it weighs around 2700lbs, to run that sort of time and mile an hour it would have to be making 2500+hp. big cubes and turbo, can't be beat

Con (the tuner) wasn't up at Jambo this weekend, from what i heard it was a relatively safe tune

looks like a vid cam taped to the side of the car. should make for fantastic viewing

he is a really nice guy, spoke with him and Con about the car a lil while back, was very open about it. i think that video was the old 400 cuber the effort by everyone is great.

no compromise for big cubes however the small cube engines can do well also. the Rayglass Celica got the Sport Compact record at Jambo with the the 2JZ (3L stroked to 3.2L, 192ci) a 6.41@224

i got a little upset when i saw the ProComp stickers on it, as i know alot of people that have had bad experiences. but they are putting money back into Drag Racing which is never a bad thing.

I'm getting ready now with the intros for the WSID 2010 Nationals for Robs footage.

Thinking I'll make 2 clips, one with music and one without.

Rob wanted "Back in Black" but I'm thinking "Space Lord" by Monster Magnet.

Heres a link to the song

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dscfeQOMuGw

If you don't like the song, feel free to suggest a better song I need the help.

This year I want to focus on the rear tyres more with a rear facing cam. About the only thing I have not yet filmed with Rob's Mustang is the Turbos under the hood at full song. I don't want my cam sucked in so I may have to give that one a pass.

sooo many to choose from, id go with Back in Black or maybe another AC/DC Highway to Hell or Thunderstruck
GNR: Welcome to the Jungle
Deep Purple: Highway Star is always a classic
Mustang Nismo: Brian Tyler/Slash (only music, no lyrics)
Judas Priest: Turbo Lover

what are you guys using to hold the cams on which mounting system?

I use Pov 1.5 720p cams with PanaVise mounts that are extended.

Just got an email from CV and looks like they may not need my set up for Rob, can't tell you how good this news is, I can go and watch the racing now
