the maccas trays only work with a front wheel drive car, stick em under the back wheels and lock the handbrake on, and to make it more fun do it in a paddock with wet grass.

Best one i seen was one of them Nissan Praire wagon thingys at the Carotel motel Canberra in January, no Macca's trays on hand so they ripped the lids off the wheely bins. It was great for 15mins of fun till they get kicked out.

Nearly ****ed myself laughing who'd of thought a piece of sh1t like that could a source of amusement for 50+ people?

Your problem is simple a 2.77LSD ratio and 3spd auto= very bad combination.
thats it.

ha, give me the EA and il show ya how to sit it. U can sit anything but u have to be prepared to kill the daylight out of a car and try methods to get it going. I sat our auto mondeo pretty good but it was the wet and i wont do it again cos those neutral bangers really screw the auto up.

If all else fails...

While you have planted the brakes and the accelerator - get someone to lift one of the rear wheel guards up, or just shake it up and down.....that's how I did mine in my old ea...smoked up next doors backyard.

I also did a standstill on grass in my old mans XF Falcon and blown the shiate outta the transmission(auto) only drive(1) worked :x

Wonder if i'm able to do it in the xe....havn't tried yet....

and my old xf manual used to do standstills..

i remember me and a mate used to cruize in his EA auto, we'd see some chicks, so he'd put it from D in to N, then rev the f**k out of it and slam it into 1st, apart from making everyone look, it did get the wheels smoking, either by compresion lock up or by lack of traction., heh

i would pay any one to try to get my wheels spinning...i tried just today on the way home from school. both wheels spin for like 5 secs then the car just wants to stall. i rev it up to bout 3500 then dump the clutch and step on the brake..is there somethin im doing wrong?.it works a little better on petrol but still wants to stall..

you're probably jumping on the brakes too hard, also give it more like 4500 should get them spinning and not wanting to stall.
