You're prob not even going to be able to tell the difference once it's fitted either way.

The pod apparently gives you a louder induction noise tho.

I recently put a K&N panel filter in and also a Tickford cold air intake. The difference was very noticeable straight away, but I put it down to the old filter being past its replacement time. Overall fuel consumption appears to have improved slightly and power is a bit better as well. Was it worth it? Probably not unless you intend to keep the car for a while. (Save on filters in the long run)

The pod makes your car quicker without a doubt over the flat panel.I have a pod filter and think its poofy and I dont like the look of it but it works.

PRO, it sucks more air in.
CON, Sucks more air in when the motor is HOT, can be fixed with a heat shield and some sore of CAI from the front bumper!

PRO & CON, depends if you like the induction sound!!

Hheheh.It does but... :newangel:

Ps stick the pod in the existing airbox so it can only suck cold air as per usual.
I think the car does move quicker..even though people hate the gtech it did show considerable difference over panel filter.Stuck panel filter back in and it went slower again.

Is the K&N Pod better than most other pods or are they mostly all the same?

So Useless, the pod and your g-teched plugs should give your wagon under 10s on the quarter mile right?!! :hihi:

Just teasin' ya mate ;)

PS: I have a pod sitting on the shelf in my garage, but I think it's ugly... so I use a K&N panel filter instead with a GT snorkel.
