Today Tonight.

Still delivering pointless, baseless, factless dribble.

The solution to getting rid of ACA and Today Tonight was summed up nicely by The Simpsons: "Just don't look, just don't look".

22 sets of tyres in 3 years? 1 set every 50 days? something smells in this story.

I unfortunately had to sit through this one due to the better half wanting to watch another segment of the program.

TT had started the segment with a caption of the vehicle in question with a large FORD logo in the backdrop. As usual, a huge storm in a tea cup - the ute in question, black in colour, looked pretty lack lustre to be kind to it.

The guy may have had a beef with the yard in question, but as in all these stories there is always two sides - restraining order taken out by the yard against the guy, huge number of brake pads & sets of tyres - speculate all you wan't, but something smells a bit rotten in Denmark with this story.

Finding the best pillow, The dangers of salt, Finding wholesale meat, Hair extension warning, Spec Wars, The A to Z of shampoos, Underpants 'curing' cellulite, Finding the best jeans, Testing toothpaste.

Just to get a better understanding of the quality of TT so we can have some perspective here.

I didn't see the broadcast (its crap and I was busy living life sorry) but was Ford contacted for comment to deliver a unbiased report of the facts surrounding this car, pretty sure the service manager could shed some light on things in regards to this car, I am betting they didn't contact Ford or the dealership for comment, cant be seen as unbiased now can we.

22 sets of tyres?? he runs OEM Dunlops at $400 atleast a piece = $35200 in tyres.

I think he meant 22 TYRES that is 5 and a half sets of tyres.

he was saying he got 5000kms out of the tyres before it needed another wheel alignment
the dealer cut a hole in his tray to change the fuel pump too, bit dodgy, they didnt even weld it up again.
the dealer didnt want to talk about it, looked like they tried interviewing 2 salesman, both said they didnt know the car and problems, but i think they may have been told not to talk
