the JMM car has had countless hours spent on getting the suspension/diff/tyre combination right.
not to mention how gooda driver Brendan is.

I am looking at the Snort kit at the moment for the EGAS work ute ... all low-down torque .. low boost (5-6psi) ... don't need a cooler with it ... and still run it on the factory ECU as well.

Waiting on pricing for the kits now ... will suit me perfectly.
Should bring my power up to around the 150rwkw mark ... but torque will be much fatter in the bottom-end (just what i want)

why do you think there are cars with over 300rwkw only running 13's?
They're simply not setup for drag racing.

a WELL RESEARCHED drag setup is very important for peak times, why do you think there is only 2 cars that have done 13's so far?
no one (private) has the time or resourses JMM have (within reason) to set up a car to drag so well.

its always been said power is not everything, gearing, weight, power CURVE, torque, suspension, traction, tyres, environment, road surface are just SOME variables.

The BA XR6T is the motor all right the BA's just a tad porky to get the best out of it thats all.

Either way the AU I6 has come a long way.

Its a $10k car now that does low 16 sec qtrs and 9 sec to 100k that with $5k spent will do low 14's and 6 sec to 100k.

No thats cheap and easy and inexpensive to mod.

No they are not going to be the giant killers lie the LS1 and the XR6T on the drag strip. And yes the 13 sec cars are really few and far between and are not easy to replicate.

What are the limits going to be?How much farther can we take these cars ? Will we see 13 second na daily driver AU six?
Bang for your buck the Au is a hard package to beat. Aufalcon.com has helped dramatically to boost knowledge & knowhow of how to get the Au up & running. I believe we will see 1/4 times drop further & further!
