Default FG XR Hexagonal Wheels on AU: Opinions

Evening all,

Just chasing everyones thoughts on what the FG XR hexagonal pattern wheels would look like on an AU. in particular my XR8. IMHO, I really can picture it looking good, especially at stock suspension. If anyones done this already, Big piccies please! plus feel free to share any cross-model stocker wheel combos.

Cheers

I think it depends on the colour, body kit and height of the AU, metallic AU XR with the lower kit, and lowered height will look good with them i reckon but thats my opinion.

Venom red AU's look awesome with the rims the G6E Turbo comes out with.

The photo of the day I was riding on those rims is STILL the background on my phone well over a year since! Not sure how to get the photo off the phone to the PC though.

I think those hexa-rims would look good on an AU.

I think they look good. But I also really like the standard XR rims.

The T series rims on the ute in the attached thread look great. If you're just replacing stock XR rims and you like them, then go for it. It's your car after all.

For me though, if I had T-series rims, which are that much rarer, I'd not want to swap such for FG XR items, as nice as they are. They are common, T-Series are not.

Hope all that makes sense? LOL!

All the best with your deliberations.
