Default can you put a manual gear boot on a auto console?

how title says really...

if so, how lol, dosnt seem to be any attachment points or anything on there.

also, is there a common aftermarket replacement boot that people use, cos the au ones are umm, not the best looking. but infinitly better looking than the t shirt i have stuffed in there now.

AFAIK they're the same, the manual boot 'clips' into the console
