Ben thanks for putting on a top event!
What a day the SVO only ran 16.02, and has some major probs up high cos the 60 foot times point to a high 14 pass. Only 2mins minutes from home the clutch let go (better than at heathcote), apon inspection, the pressure plate was totaled with half of the plate not making contact with the clutch. Well next time the idea is to skip the 15's and 14's, and straight to a 13sec pass. |

Thanks to neb for organising the event (my apologies for the what appeared to be heated overtake as we were going through Wallan on the way home too!) - bugger to see Dave's second car (or is it his first ? lol) not make it past the burnout - I think we can all say that would have been the climax of the event :(
Funny that I ended up with a trophy too - ah well, gotta be in it to win it lol ! Maybe next time I can earn it instead of 'winning' (in this case, I prefer to call it 'not losing') it by default haha. Looking forward to the next one if all the ups are fixed on my bucket on wheels ! Cheers, Steve |
