Hey guys,
(Mods if this is the wrong area then please feel free to move it as I honestly have no idea where I should post this.) I've been off for awhile sorting things out and over loaded with study that I haven't had time to use the Forums as reguarly as I used to or I would like to. Basically I'm making this post to show some new additions to my car after about 6 months since I've last been on. Going back around the begining of april my mother was driving my car and was at the front of a 3 car pile up, where a P-plater in a Subaru came around the corner and hit a VX wagon into the back of my car (which my Mum was driving). Luckly nobody was hurt and there was minimal damage to my car thanks to the Hayman Reece tow pack fitted to the car. The subaru was a complete write off and the VX also with it's chassis bent and diff in the back seat. My rear bar was replaced and all was good from there. Then about a month later on the 6th of May I was again involved in a major 3 car pile up. Where I smashed into a pile of cars that had stopped in peak hour doing about 80kmp/h. I hit a car trailer on the back of a 4x4 Toyota Hilux and pushed him into a Ford Courier tray top infront of him. None of the other cars thankfully were damaged as everthing that his was steel bullbars and trays. And the Hilux happened to be a very heavy load so it didn't move much (about 1 meter) but I came to a sudden stop and was very badly injured. It wasn't my fault as they had all stopped suddenly and the hilux had no break lights. Although being the last car to hit I was up for the excess ($900). Luckly for us though there was a police car right behind me who narrowly avoided me by swerving into a fence. He called the ambulance and took over the scene. As for the car, where the trailer hit it went right through my grill and shattered my engine completly and bent the whole front end. I had to go to hospital and suffered some internal injuries and some major skin bruising (also nobody else was injured at all). I still suffer emense pain but there is no knowing of when that will end. Doctors and specialst said that im lucky to not have spinal injuries and where the seatbelt cracked my ribs im lucky that my lunges weren't peirced. The car should have been a write off, but as an agreed value of $9,500 they spent $7,800 repairing my baby. They put a S3 Fairmont front on it (including fenders/gaurds) and fitted a brand new I6 engine. I'm very happy with the result, the paint matches and it looks the part. Although the cars never really been the same since. Im pretty happy now with the final look of the AU. The S3 front has made the car look so much more classier, with the chrome and the colour. All that I felt was left was for me to add white walls to the stock S1 Fairmont rims (as I'm not a fan of rims). Overall Im pretty happy with how she sits now. Any recomendations would be more than welcome but as I said I'm pretty happy with it at the moment. It gets alot of looks and looks like none other AU around here lol. Also I have an 03' MkI BA Fairlane GHIA that i'll try to make look the part now lol. Here is how the car sits to date, (minus the wheelworx sticker on the front window) Thanks for taking the time to read it guys.

Welcome back, sounds like you've been through a tough time with the two mishaps. Glad to see the car is looking happy again. So you got a BA Fairlane? How is it in general when compared to the AU?
