new lowered springs from kings springs will lower it as well, how low do you want to go?

as for mods, is the ute for work mainly or play?

I've seen someone tinker with a congo green AU2 ute :

if you want it slammed don't get pedders leaves i got their lowest $800 fitted, 2in gap between tyre and guard. Front is ultra low 6cyl king and looks awesome, back looks like standard xr and is not low enough and au utes don't like lowering blocks so i will have to in back. Maybe try the king leaves and if you enquire let us know the drop and the price if you don't mind. Cheers.

Extractors, cai and snorkle seem a waste of money if its going to possibly be turboed.

Congo green AU2 XL LPG forum ute; high series bonnet(JC), Ghia grille(zhodak), 18's(JC via LG); Lowered(b2tf), factory wheel arch flares(Sox), rear cabin lip spoiler, G&D airbox, and a few more bits. I'll let you know when there are some better pics of it.
But I had to raise the rear slightly, too low with the gas tanks :

You can use lowering blocks - up to 38mm if running 18x9s on the rear are fine (I had them on my wagon - similar rear suspension as the utes).
