Default AU Entry Key.

Anyone know if the following key would work on an AU Series 1 Forte? If not, is it possible to get it to work, without mass modification?

Cheers.

it will depend if your car has smart shield or smart lock, it has been said on here before that smart shield came in either july or september(iirc) or somewhere in between in 99 before that they were smart lock which is eb-au1 style remote. the remote you have is for smart shield check your compliance plate for build date if after september it should work if not get the older remote and use that.

Will not work on AU1 regardless of Smartshield or Smartlock. All AU1's had the E-Series Smartlock style fob.
