I saw on Ebay, Kings Ultra Lows advertised as being lower than XR's. Obviously they would be! My question is, I was under the impression XR's are already "Lows". Isn't there "Super Lows" In between "Lows" and "Super Lows"? Its important as I have a steep driveway and my old EA scraped the exhaust going into the garage.

XR = lows
superlows = ~1" lower then XR ultralows = ~10mm lower then superlows. but ofcourse this all depends on the shock selection, springs just arnt consistant these days.

I put SL into my XR6 - mine always rode a fair bit higher in the back - with the SL all round the front dropped slightly and the back dropped around 35 mm makes the car quite level and i dont have a drama with clearance

The front always looks to be lower than the back. Putting UL in the rear would make it look more even. Depends, where you live, whether you have a bodykit and the practicality of it though.

ive always wondered about the infamous 'ultra lows'.. i had superlows in my last falcon and it looked nice but would of liked it a little lower. now i got the eb sorry if this is a commonly asked question but how much do ultra's sell for, similar to super's? but my main question is will i have to change the shocks n that for ultra's? my ea managed fine with standard shocks with superlows..

If you want to get the Ultra low kings get them all roung don't mix and match, you want your car sitting level don't you? It all depends how steep your driveway is.
MY car has the UL and if you want to see it check out the last post in this thread: http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=6137 I also got my exaust done after I lowered my car so the guy tucked it up a bit. |
