Default trans temp gauge

Has anyone ever put a weld flange for a temp gauge in the sump of there BTR transmission?

If so have you had any issues?

couldn't you put it in the trans cooler line.

i think stav did to his wagon. i don't recall much more info about it tho. i also think blackers10 did it or was going to...

might be worth a search

I'll be watching this thread closely, i'd like to monitor the effect of my shift kit on the trans. Sounds like a good idea, i hope there is some info on this.
