Default Au 2/3 Tickford Bodykits!

Looking for original tickford body kit that was released for the Series 2/3 Sedans, any ideas where I can find some?

Cheers!

You won't get a factory SII Xr rear skirt. There were, at last check back in June last year, 2 left. 1 of which now site on my XR.

Hmmm well in that case is it worth going for the fibre glass one's?

Also, I do want to keep the ghia look, just wanted the optional tickford bodykit that some came out with

fibreglass is still ok if fitted properly, the only thing with fibre glass is it wont give. so if you bump your bumper it will crack.

id search on ebay, you can normally pick up second hand kits that are genuine. or even try ftg auto salvage (site sponser).

Thanks xr8220, or maybe you can sell me your bodykit haha : ..

In that case I might give the fibreglass a miss and wait for an original bodykit, if I find one in the future..

Fibregalss does give a bit, but not as much as plastic. Still, if you hit either material, you are either going to bend it (plastic) and crack paint off, or crack it (fibreglass) and crack paint off - either way, you need a repair done. The thing is not to hit anything with either and you'll be sweet.

I would go the fibreglass, as it is actually cheaper and easier to repair if you do crack it, plus it's very hard to come by the injected resin plastic stuff (new) anyway, and anything second hand is likely to be damaged.

Id steer away from fibreglass if youre going to install it yourself, factory plastic stuff is much easier to work with. If youre paying a professional then fibreglass is ok. Id still try to hunt down as many bits in plastic as possible though.

On a side note, Au2 ghias look HOT with the s2 bodykit!
