Default re-programing AU1 Key not working, read book and posts

ok so i was palying around with my car last night and managed to hit the rear demister 3 times in 5 seconds clearing the set keys

and for some damn reason i cant get back into the relearn mode to re-set my keys, i can still lock and unlock the car using the key its self as well as start the car

its a series 1

i did what it says on page 63 of the owners manual. and still nothing i tried for about 10 mins again after work 2day and still nothing.

i tried with doors lock and unlocked

help me please

The demister just resets the remotes, not the keys. Follow the procedure in the book EXACTLY, and it will work (ie pretend you know nothing about it, and follow every single step). If all else fails, take it to Ford.

I found that when trying to recode one of my remotes/keypads to the car I had to do it with the driver's door open.

It doesn't tell you that in the book !!!

i re read the owners manual and acted as if i didnt know what i was doing and even got my mum to give it a crack.. still nothing i tried witht he door open / locked and everything else ppl have tried

next stop ford im guessing ?

how old is the battery in your remote? that could be a problem if its old and nearly flat. worth a try before ford anyway.
