Default Pic call out...........

G'day,

Ok, well I am finally on to the stage where I am re-wiring my car to V8 spec (AWSOME!!!!!!..........pfffffft)

I have my V8 looms.
I have seperated my ABS loom (from old i6 loom).
I have nearly all relays and connectors.

All i need now is lots of good pics of the engine bay of an EBV8 so that I have something to work off, as I have only ever had i6's.....!!!

So, If anyone has any pics, or can get some, it would be of great assistance to me if you could post them up for me to save and use as referance material.

Pretty much need good pics of all areas where wiring is found in the engine bay (Everywhere).

Thanks if at all possible.

Mike

Oh yeah, and if anyone has standard injectors, MAF and throttle body, which they would be willing to part with at a very reasonable price, please let me know as I need a 'standardish' system to pass emissions (EBV8 style)..... :

Any pics would be appreciated, no matter how 'not pretty' they are.

In a recent magazine (either Street Fords or PFM) there was an ED XR8 with a 351W in it which replaced the 302. Now I know you're doing a swap from an I6, but regarding the 302-->351 conversion, all the stock electrics wired up fine, or so the article read.

So 302 spec ECU, etc, should be fine with the conversion (according to this article!)

The ED is a black XR8 with a Nissan Patrol mini-scoop (for bonnet clearance for the intake manifold) and has a garish red interior :

Love it! (minus the aforementioned interior)

Hope this helps, although I'm 9.9% sure you'd have a fair idea about the electrics by this stage of your conversion, haha!

Cheers mate

Thanks for the tip off mate, I got the magazine today...... (Street Fords issue 02) for the record.

Got stuck into the wiring again tonight, bloody big job if you are not a sparky (which I am not). I'll get it done tho, it will just take some time. Especially chopping and swapping between the I6 and V8 looms (new loom does not have ABS, and I6 loom does).

Again, If anyone has any pics of their EB-ED V8 engine bay, I'd love them, there are a lot of fiddly little areas and plugs that I am not familiar with. If I could atleast take a look at where they are meant to go, then I might be able to get the job done a little quicker.

I hope that im not asking too much?? If so, sorry (just kind of despirate).

Anyways, my E mail address is microbe@in.com.au

Thanks
Mike
